Not a long story.
My friend from art school Nisse Tennemo and his brother Bosse lived at Mariatorget in Stockholm. Their father had an offset printing business in Hammarby we sometime visit.
A couple of years later he sadly passed away in cancer and the brothers inherited the business. Non of them was interested to take over so it was just closed for a while.
One day I followed Nisse to check out whats wort selling or renting out. In a corner of the shop it was a parked Blue Arrow 250 Ive haven't seen on previos visits.
I was at the time without bike and asked if they needed the bike. Answer was no, so I bought it. It was in great shape and I used it for a while, but our main interest those days was parties and hanging around with friends so I parked it.
A couple of years later I was married and working at Colorod Hotrod Magazine. Ive got a stupid idea of repaint and upgrade the bike for a reportage.
So I took it apart in decimals, went to a blasting company with my cameras and made the primary article ready. We didnt published it as some older projects been stalled.
I didnt have a good space to work on it so I brought it to our summer house in Västmanland and one of my sheds. Had primer and stuff but not the time, van meetings, Mantorp, wind surfing and bathing was more fun.
A few weeks later we was back, its been raining a lot. I know it before opening the door, rust, rust and rust on everything so I just shut the door.
A few years later I swapped it in boxes for something new and fun for a project. Now Its been renovated to original by a third owner.
All good!
